At The Craft Table, we believe that anything can be used to create art!
We use anything we can get our hands on, especially recycled items and things from nature. Some see a paper towel tube, we see a rocket. A shoebox can become a marble run. A few pinecones can become a beautful bouquet of flowers. The possibilities are endless! Imagination is such a huge part of what we encourage in our classes and we make sure to incude it in all our crafts. Everyday items you may no longer need serve a new purpose in our club. Your children get to use their imagination and it helps our planet too!

Our curriculum includes science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) to make learning fun. Kids love it!
We use the Creative Crafting Curriculum.
This curriculum has been developed by a team of experts including an architect, engineer, occupational therapist, and play therapist. It has been tested and proven successful in over 5,000 clubs.
We understand that time and money are valuable resources, that's why our lessons combine elements from five different clubs: crafting, art, music, clay work, and STEAM-based learning (which includes science, technology, engineering, art, and math).

Where are the classes located?
We are currently hosting classes at Ridgetop Coffee & Tea (21631 Ridgetop Cir, Sterling, VA 20166) in the meeting room. We also host classes at our grage studio in Leesburg, VA. When signing up, please note the address listed!
Do I have to buy the supplies?
No. The supplies are included! We use typical crafting items but also focus on using recycled materials in our crafts. We are always happy to take any of your paper towel rolls or soup cans you're looking to recycle :)
How big are the classes?
We want every child to receive special attention; therefore, all classes are typically kept to a maximum of 10 students. Any variation to this will be mentioned in the event description.
What do I bring to class?
We provide all the supplies and materials. We recomend you bring your child a bottle of water in case they get thirsty. We will have tea and coffee available for the parents!
What do I wear?
The classes tend to get messy and could result in paint or other damage to personal items or clothing. Students are strongly encouraged to wear old clothes or anything you don't mind getting paint on. We do provide aprons but they can only do so much! We are not responsible for any damages.
Do I help my child with their craft?
This is really up to you. For our 2-3 year olds, parents may be a little more involved to help guide your kids; however, we highly reccomend you do not do the craft for your child. Instead, talk through the step they are stuggling with but allow them to do it themselves. In he end, we want the kiddos to feel like it is THEIR artwork and to take pride in it!
We sometimes offer classes outside the studio at a cafe. Here, you are more than welcome to leave your child with us while you grab a coffee or tea, get some work done or just relax at another table!
Can I bring siblings?
Any child that wishes to participate will need to register for the class; however, parents are more than welcome to bring a younger sibling/baby that is not old enough to participate yet.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes! Each ADDITIONAL child will receive a 10% off.
My child is younger than the ages listed. Can I still sign them up?
Yes! The age groups listed (2-7yr) are the reccomended ages for the craft we will be creating; however, if you think your child is capable of participating at a younger age, you are more than welcome to sign them up! All we ask is that the parent assist as needed if the craft proves to be more difficult for their child. Additionally, if your child is older than the ages listed but you feel they would enjoy participating, they are more than welcome to join.
We also plan to offer classes to more age groups soon. Stay tuned!
What if a class is canceled?
In the rare case that a class needs to be canceled, you will be notified as soon as possible. You will be able to reschedule for one of the other scheduled class dates at no additional cost.

Currently, we do not offer customization options. However, our kits are thoughtfully curated to provide a diverse and engaging creative experience.

Yes, the step-by-step instructions are designed to be kid-friendly, allowing children to explore their creativity independently. Younger children may require some adult assistance.
How long does it take to complete a project from a typical kit?
The time it takes to complete a project varies, but most activities are designed to be completed within 45 minutes to 1 hour. Some projects may be more involved and can be spread out over multiple sessions.
Are the materials environmentally friendly?
We are committed to sustainability. While not all materials are eco-friendly, we strive to minimize environmental impact by using recyclable and biodegradable materials whenever possible.
Can I purchase a single kit without subscribing?
At the moment, we only offer subscription plans. This allows us to provide you with an exciting creative experience every month. If you feel uncertain, you can sign up and receive your first kit, and if you’re not happy you can simply cancel your subscription by sending us an email.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we do not offer international shipping. We're working on expanding our reach, so stay tuned for updates!
